I love engaging in the complicated, caring and courageous conversations that unearth issues, barriers, and ultimately connecting solutions to complex problems. At heart, I am a strategist who sees the holistic picture, the implications of various scenarios, and I know how to seek clarity to support solid solutions.

After more than 25 years of leading teams and helping complex organizations with strategic solutions, holistic communication and change management, it was time to chart a different course and launch CDG Coaching & Consulting.
I am a certified leadership coach with experience in strategic communication and change management. I am a former journalist with a Masters’ Degree in Leadership and Training. I have a solid academic background and credentials, coupled with in-the-trenches experience that is invaluable. I can assume a 30,000 ft perspective and my tactical, practical skills to bring a vision to life. I know how to ask the right questions, craft tangible objectives, and understand measures and metrics. My holistic approach to everything I do ensures you get the results you need.
I enjoy people, and I especially enjoy figuring out what makes them tick, what interests them, what motivates them, what inspires them, what causes them concern. I am genuinely curious about people. Curiosity is foundational when building effective and productive relationships, coaching, crafting communication and designing change strategies. I am not someone to shy away from difficult conversations, but I seek to explore them respectfully, gathering all perspectives together. This approach has earned me respect, trust, and made me more effective as a coach and an advisor.
I have a sophisticated understanding and experience in strategic communication, change management, and service delivery in a multi-client environment where complex governance models, legal frameworks, and regulations complicate the work.
One of my greatest strengths is systems thinking, an ability to see the interconnections between various things, and the impacts – I see the current reality and grasp the long term implications of decisions. This strength is an asset in shaping strategy. Coupled with my strong communication skills of listening and resynthesizing complex content, I can shape strategy and influence opinions.
